About
Some voyages matter more than others.

For 12 years, I commanded container vessels across the world's oceans with Maersk. I led multinational crews of 25 people from 9 different countries through storms, tight schedules, and the vast solitude of the sea. The bridge of a ship teaches you things no classroom can — how to stay calm when the horizon disappears, how to earn trust from people who speak different languages, how to make decisions when there's no one else to ask.

Then my daughter was born, and everything changed. Every time I left for sea, she would fall sick. I'd stand on the bridge, thousands of miles away, unable to do anything. When an opportunity came to bring my maritime expertise ashore — helping shipping companies decarbonize their fleets — I didn't hesitate. Some voyages matter more than others.

Today, I'm a Senior Customer Success Manager at ZeroNorth, and when I'm not working, you'll find me building apps and tools with Claude Code, listening to podcasts, or lost in a book. The sea taught me to navigate uncertainty. Now I apply those lessons to technology, leadership, and life.
